Setting up Guest Meal Selection

You can set up guest meal selection to allow hosts and guests to choose between different options, for example if they have a choice between three starters, mains, and desserts. 

To set this up, go to the Food & Drink section of you event. 

Click on +Add to add your menu or individual items for guests to choose from, you can also create ad hoc items for this event. Once you've selected your menu or items, a new button + Guest Selection appears. 

A drawer opens up and you can now select the courses you'd like the guests to choose from. Please note, you need to have at least two options in that course category for you to select them. 


Now that you've selected the courses you can hit save and let the hosts invite their guests. You can also decide whether the guest meal selection is for accommodation guests and it will only be shown to guests that have a room booked on Hostology. This is great for breakfast options for guests staying in the property.


You will then see all the food items and how many guests have selected them.

To make sure you can use it for all your guests, both the venue and the hosts can edit the choices just in case some guests don't want to login and confirm theirs. You can do this by simply going to the Guest Management area and clicking on a guest and editing their meal selections.


You can also track which guests have selected their meals at a glance in the Guest Management, any guest with a fork and knife icon has selected all their meals
